The importance of this project, which is considered the beginning of the network of rapid electric trains that will be implemented and which will represent a new civilized shift in the means of transportation in Egypt. It includes the fast electric train project (Ain Sokhna - El Alamein), which has a length of 460 km, 15 stations, and the design speed of the train is 250 km / hour and will contribute to linking the new administrative capital and the new cities with the railway network to transport passengers and goods through a fast, modern and safe means of transportation, as it will start from Ain Sukhna on the Red Sea coast to the new city of Alamein, passing through the new administrative capital, 6th of October city and Borg El Arab city.
Work is being intensified and work is underway around the clock, and the timetable set for the completion of the project is being fully completed within two years, according to the directives of the political leadership.
